French Farmhouse Renovation
found this article in the French Quarter and wanted to share it.
How would you imagine the decor of a French farmhouse? What about after renovation and french furniture? An English textile designer has spent much of her time renovating not one, but two farmhouses in France. The Lawrences found their second home away from home in Bourg, France. It was a 1750s farmhouse with the classic style of a Girodine manor. Throughout the renovation they added a pool and sloping garden, combined 2 bedrooms to form the master suite and separated the original farmhouse from the main house creating a cottage. Take a look at the renovated farm house and let us know what you think of the new design.
